ACTIVITY REPORT 2019
THE DAY OF THE DEAD FESTIVAL and Tequila Bread Fair is a cultural celebration that held its second edi- tion on November 1st and 2nd, 2019, exposing tradi- tional Tequila bakers.
!e objective is to make this profession visible and revalued, as an activity that is an essential part of the cultural heritage of the town and that it promotes the encounter between the people of the community, as a starting point to give value to their identity and col- lective memory.
!e Tequila Bakers Fair was the main element of the festival, where around 10 bakeries from the region participated, including families that for generations have dedicated themselves to this trade, thus pre- serving the tradition.
!e main objective was to promote and benefit these bakers so that they can continue to function as key actors that enrich the gastronomic cultural heri- tage of Tequila.
